Walking and picking
How do I move and look around?
The D-pad moves you forward, back and sideways. Drag anywhere else on the screen to look around. In Settings › Controls you can change look sensitivity, invert the vertical look, put the D-pad on the left or the right, change how see-through the controls are and turn haptics on or off.
How do I run?
Double-tap the forward arrow on the D-pad and keep holding it. Let go to walk again.
How do I pick a flower?
Walk up close and aim the crosshair at a flower until it gets a white outline, then tap the round pick button. The basket button at the top of the screen shows how many flowers you carry. Open it to see them grouped by kind, or to put one back.
Can I walk a different trail?
Yes. On the main menu, swipe the trail card to choose Prairie Meadow, Alpine Heights or Damavand Hillside, then tap Walk. The Biome Editor lets you change the terrain, sky and plants of a trail. Your edits are saved on your iPhone, and Settings › Data can reset them.
How do I pause or leave a walk?
Tap the pause button in the top corner. From there you can resume, open Settings, restart the trail or go back to the main menu.
Bouquet Builder
What are the four tabs?
Prepare: trim stems on the cutting board against the ruler. Arrange: place each flower in the bunch. Shape: set heights, where the bunch is tied and how tightly. Wrap: choose a quick wrap or wrap the bouquet yourself, then save it to your gallery.
What does Auto arrange do?
It lays out the flowers the way a florist would: the biggest blooms in the middle, the bunch domed and balanced, foliage around the edge. Every press gives a new arrangement, so press again if you'd like another.
How do I wrap a bouquet by hand?
In the Wrap tab choose Wrap it yourself and pick a paper. Fold the left side over, then the right, add a piece of tape and tie the bow. Undo takes back one step, and Start over gives you a fresh sheet.
How do I look at my bouquet from every side?
Drag on the bouquet to turn it, pinch to zoom, and double-tap to bring it back to the front.
Sending and accounts
How do I send a bouquet to a friend?
Open the bouquet in your gallery and tap Send. The first time, sign in with Apple or with an email address and choose a username. Then type your friend's exact username, add a message if you like, and send. Each bouquet can be sent once; pictures and GIFs of it can be shared as often as you like.
My friend didn't get the bouquet
Check that you typed their username exactly, and that you both have an internet connection. New bouquets appear when they open their gallery or tap refresh. Notifications only appear if they allowed them.
To keep Florilla free of spam, an account can send up to 30 bouquets an hour, and 5 in its first hour.
How do I turn notifications on or off?
In your profile, the account card has a switch for "A friend sends me a bouquet" and one for "A friend opens my bouquet". You can also turn off all Florilla notifications in the iOS Settings app under Notifications.
I forgot my password
On the email sign-in screen, choose to reset your password. We email you a six-digit code; enter it and choose a new password. If you use Sign in with Apple, there is no separate password.
How do I change my username or sign out?
Open your profile. The account card has Change username, Change password for email accounts, and Sign out. Signing out keeps all your bouquets on the iPhone.
Battery and performance
My iPhone gets warm or the battery drains quickly
Open Settings › Graphics & battery and try a frame rate of 30, Battery resolution and the Near draw distance. Turning off anti-aliasing helps too. Changes apply right away, also from the pause menu during a walk.
Can Florilla run at 120 frames per second?
Yes, on iPhones with a 120 Hz ProMotion screen. Choose 120 in Settings › Graphics & battery. On other iPhones the game runs at up to 60.
Your data
Where are my bouquets stored?
On your iPhone. Your basket, bouquets, gallery, stats and settings never leave the device unless you send a bouquet. Deleting the app deletes them. The privacy policy has the details.
How do I reset the game?
Settings › Data has separate buttons to reset settings, reset walking stats, reset Biome Editor changes and clear the gallery. Each one asks before it deletes anything.
Delete your account
You can play Florilla without an account, but if you created one you can have it deleted at any time, together with everything stored for it on our server.
- Email us at hello@florilla.example with the subject "Delete my Florilla account" and your username. Please write from the email address on your account. For Sign in with Apple, that is the address Apple shares with Florilla, which may be a private relay address that forwards to you.
- We confirm and delete your profile and username, your sign-in record, your notification tokens and every bouquet you sent or received on the server, within 30 days. Copies a friend already downloaded may stay in their own gallery.
- Stop using Sign in with Apple (optional): on your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Sign-In & Security › Sign in with Apple, choose Florilla and tap Stop Using.
- Remove what's on your iPhone: delete the app, or use Settings › Data inside the game. We never had a copy of it.
Report a player
If someone sends you a bouquet or message that is unkind, unwanted or worse, email us with their username, roughly when it arrived and what happened. We review every report and may remove content, limit sending, change a username or close the account. Meanwhile you can delete the bouquet from your gallery and turn off bouquet notifications in your profile. The terms of use list what is not allowed.
